What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files which are saved on your device (computer, tablet or smartphone). If you access a website, the cookie saved on your device will be read to provide information to the party that placed the cookie. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device, nor do they contain viruses, trojans or other malware. They do not store any personal data, like your name or email address.
How do Cookies work?
Cookies are used to ensure an optimal user experience and help make websites more efficient. When you visit a site that uses cookies for the first time, a cookie is downloaded onto your PC so the next time you visit, the site ’knows’ that you have been there before and can tailor content to you or save your site login information.
Other cookies are more sophisticated and can track how visitors interact with a website such as where they came from, the actions they took (e.g. clicked a button, added an item to a shopping cart) or even how long they spent on a particular page.
Managing cookies
You can control what cookies you use by adjusting your internet browser settings. Please note, however, that if you delete or decline cookies, you might not be able to use all the functions we offer, that you cannot save your preferences and that our pages may not display properly.
