Tom McEvoy from Ainsley Gommon Architects will be leading an architecture cycle tour around the Wirral, focused on the Left Bank of the River Mersey. Starting from Port Sunlight the tour will visit multiple historical sites and buildings of interest while making its way to Wallasey Town Hall.
The route will start at the Main Entrance of Lady Lever Art Gallery, Port Sunlight and end at the Ferry Pub in Egremont, passing through:
Bromborough Pool
Rock Park
Birkenhead Priory
Hamilton Square
Woodside
Seacombe Ferry
Wallasey Town Hall
Please be aware that this is a relatively long cycle ride with anticipated at least 90mins of the 3 hours will be cycling. The route is approx 8 miles long. The tour is designed to be at a leisurely pace, therefore should be appropriate to cyclist of all abilities.
Although most of the route is made up of parks and cycle lanes, attendees should be comfortable with riding on main roads.
Please wear appropriate clothing, footwear and a bike helmet!
All attendees must have their own bike to be able to participate.

Travel Information:
Trains to Port Sunlight Train Station run from Merseyrail City Line run regularly. Follow trains to and from Chester and Ellesmere Port. For return journeys to Liverpool, New Brighton Train Station has regularly trains to and from Liverpool or change at Hamilton Square for trains to other areas of the Wirral, Liverpool City Centre, Chester and Ellesmere Port.
